As a traditional food magazine, Eat & Travel Weekly has been confined to their existing consumer group with limited profit growth. The only requirement from client is to help them to “rejuvenate”! By digesting the data from a three-month consumer and marketing survey, we boldly proposed to move everything from print to mobile, to utilize Social Media and Mobile App to develop the innovative mobile media and group buy service.
As people used their index fingers to flip or scroll in both old and new platforms, we decided to have “全城食指動” as our slogan，and had over 160,000 new users to download our mobile app within 4 weeks through Viral Marketing, Facebook Fanpage, e-PR & news, forum seeding, etc. It had become the “Top Downloaded App” in Apple Store for two consecutive weeks.
